(Dan Tri Newspaper) – On the morning of November 9th, the Trang An Marathon 2025 kicked off in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Ninh Binh, welcoming over 10,000 athletes from across the country and more than 15 countries worldwide.
Organized by Vu Media Joint Stock Company (VRace) in collaboration with the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the event has become an annual sporting activity, contributing to promoting sports training, spreading the spirit of healthy and green living, and promoting the image of the Trang An World Heritage site.

Annual sporting event, attracting over 10,000 athletes
More than just a race, Trang An Marathon 2025 is also a large-scale sports and tourism festival, attracting athletes, their families, and tourists to Ninh Binh, creating a positive effect on the sustainable sports tourism development orientation that the province is implementing.
The race recorded impressive achievements
The race welcomed over 10,000 athletes participating in 4 distances: marathon (42.195km), half marathon (21.0975km), exploring the heritage land (10km), and experiencing the heritage route (5km). With 4 distances and 4 different routes, the athletes had great experiences and praised the race.

Impressive Innovations of Trang An Marathon 2025 – A Mark of the 5th Season in the Heart of a Dual Heritage Site
Returning after four successful seasons, Trang An Marathon 2025 took place at a special time – celebrating the unification of the three provinces of Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, and Ninh Binh, and the success of the 1st Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress. This year, the race brought a series of impressive innovations, affirming the organizers’ efforts to enhance the experience for athletes.
In addition, the prize structure was expanded by age group in the 42km distance, aiming to encourage fair competition and recognize the efforts of the amateur running community.

Towards international standards
All four distances of the race, including Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), 10km, and 5km, are measured, supervised, and certified by the Vietnam Athletics Federation as meeting technical standards, ensuring that the athletes’ achievements are officially recognized.
